This beat is 🔥
What an absolutely brilliant song that evokes memories that come flooding back whenever I hear this of people and places long gone, true beauty
80s again, just when you thought you remembered all the greatness of the 80s, there is yet another song…………and another………..and another…………………I feel like the 80s is likened to the sinking Titanic? We’re all playing music like the calm musicians knowing their impending demise. Cheers 🥂. We lived on the greatest “music titanic epoch” ever! Happy to share it with all of you.
Go ed the Scousers 🙂
😎Song!!
I want to go back to those times..go back to the 80s, be a baby Again and correct all my life's stupid mistakes.
The song is so good that it makes up for the worst hair of the 80s 😉 In fact, the song is sheer brilliance.
I was in Italy right after high (1987) for 43 days and played this endlessly on my Walkman on a loop missing my girlfriend, who has been my wife for 29 years now..

They were 30 years ahead of their time !!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM BATMAN
I get chills listening to these songs, remembering where I was and what I was feeling when I first heard the song
( If I Had A Photographed HairDO )
That hair is breaking gravity
It's all so beautiful. But especially the section from 3:12 on, and even more so in the full-length version of the song. Paul Reynolds's soaring guitar lines transported the song to a higher level, and the back-and-forth between his guitar and Mike Score's keyboard phrases is like a yearning alien conversation.
Their high water mark. I ran was their best hit but this is their best song
I know that music is subjective, but I would rather be stuck in a lift with Tony Blair doing prumpsplashes than suffer the horror of A Flock of Seagulls pumping out the sheer dirge of their 'top hundred hits'….
In fact, of all the ear creasing 'nothingness bands', I would rather have Shakin Stevens playing in my ears on an endless loop than subject my being to the torture of any of A Flock Of Seagulls albums. – Telly Savalas ranks higher with that album he made (from his love of music), and also, Joe Dolce ranks higher than the repetitive Gronque (oid) mush of A F O S!
Please, don't play this smelly gulch of an insult to the 1980's, – you would be much better devoting your time to converting Bay City Rollers tracks to hip hop, then converting your efforts to Thrash Metal, then converting your result to abstract jazz.
No thing is worse than abject boredom, apart from A Flock Of Seagulls albums. – And I heard a whisper that oriental organizations make use of the vinyl to extract 'secrets' from the most resistant of 'spies'. It makes me shudder til blood flows from my udder….I am sorry that I have had to speak of 'The Dark Doings' which render A Flock Of Seagulls the most incredibly boring band in musical history. (The bassist had some merit, as he could read music) + the name of the band was mentioned in a brilliant early Stranglers track – 'Toiler On The Sea', but apart from that – Nowt is going on, and Nowt is the descriptive word. Nothing. No Thing. Blessings To All Folks loving many musical types. Eddie Hoare.
Things were so much better back then, love the 80s and not just for the music! Great band!
I love I Ran, but Wishing is my favorite of theirs. Great, great song.
We love you guys
Why do people think they're a one hit wonder? They're really a three hit wonder, along with Space Age Love Song
now garry whiting like Stephen Clarke music from Loughborough and now Stephen Clarke from Loughborough as got garry whiting from Leicester as his very nice and kind gay partner who loves and likes Stephen Clarke from Loughborough visage and very same and proper stuff properly stuff properly
80's never die 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I'm 47 now and I've had this song in my head for over 35 years I miss the years I was growing up, if I could turn back the clock and live my life in the 80s again I would. Those days were the best. No cares no worries and good friends who are missed
Growing up in the 80's was the time in my life great music and movies
we could have a debate about which decade was the best music produced in but there`d be no point……anyone who doesn`t think it was the 80`s is just wrong
Starry moments
The 80’s was and will always be the best decade of music👍🇦🇺
I love this new wave style song… and the new wave style hair dos.
They were 40 years ahead of their time with their sound !!!!!

No do overs. Those are the rules. You're allowed to remember though.

I wish I had 1 😥
" Regular Show – Jess Baltazar " 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Fuck lil pump rhis goes hard bro
Seems like this brings me back to the fall of 1983, first year of (then) Jr. High
How fortunate I feel to have been in the prime of life while experiencing the 80s !!!!!!!!!😎
🎤It's not the way you look
It's not the way that you smile
Although there's something to them
It's not the way you have your hair
It's not that certain smile
It could be that with you
If I had a photograph of you
It's something to remind me
I wouldn't spend my life just wishing…🎹🎼🎶🎼
It's not the make up and
It's not the way that you dance
It's not the evening sky
It's more the way your eyes are laughing as they glance
Across the great divide
If I had a photograph of you
It's something to remind me
I wouldn't spend my life just wishing…🎹🎼🎶🎼
It's not the things you say
It's not the things you do
It must be something more
And if I feel this way for so long
Tell me is it all for nothing
Just don't walk out the door
If I had a photograph of you
It's something to remind me
I wouldn't spend my life just wishing…🎹🎼🎶🎼
I only discovered this beautiful song during the summer of 2019, it’s haunting, sad and it inspires all at the same time………..I want it played at my funeral.
Brilliant..
Amazing Song!!!
un temon un clásico
I'm so lucky that I'm a teenager at this 80's fantastic Era of beautiful, & relaxing music called NEW WAVE, those were the days we watched movies on betamax, spending the afternoon playing Game & Watch, and listening music to a Sony Walkman with an audio tape of A FLOCK OF SEA GULLS.
It wasn't white it wasn't black it was just music back in the 80s
I had tickets to their performance in Chico at Chico State. They cancelled the day of due to lack of ticket sales. I was so bummed! Never got to see them live.
