Check out the Animation workflow in Maya 2018, we used the animation toolset and shape authoring workflow in Maya to create a character for our internal project Wall of Death. Using both new and recent features such as parallel rig evaluation, pose editor, time editor, and the updated graph editor, bringing characters to life in Maya is faster and more fun.

Dear Autodesk, consider to *Integrate tools if composition and Editing and motion rracting with 3ds max and Maya and Mudbox *
It would impact users more easy to access as well as use and experience of Autodesk products
Is no one talking about how great these character is animated
Does the the Dead character represent Softimage. bringing it back to life yeah, through your ripped off SHIT PROG. well shit when you took over anyway. Soft will be back so watch the fucking space.. gggrrrrrr AssDesk

КРУТЯК, БЕЙБА!)))
i didn't have Animation time line down how I can get it
Great..!
can I have that rig?
Learning Maya now: I really like your video. It's not exactly an explanation of how to do things, but if you know Maya a little: you tell us just enough. Thank you
Are you kidding? They just changed the layout hahahaha the tools are exacly the same. Nothing new. Free and Paid Plugins are still the best tools you can use. Community > Autodesk
Can you guys add feature to the time editor like we could replace a footage in time editor with an updated version of it ? That would be awesome
Can 3ds max do it???
I don't understand how they can release 2018 with 2017 still in beta. Neither one convinced me to upgrade from 2016. Plus Arnold is a complete joke.
cool…
Can I use HIK contol set on custom Rig to get the Full body IK effect and still use old controlls which was on the custom rig ?
Or is there a way around it ?
I heard Autodesk makes 3ds max too.
(sarcasm)
Autodesk Slogan:
We really just don't give a fuck!
i liked the rider anime…laughing
Ahh, yeah, Maya could be my one and only IF as a hobbyist, I could just justify that ~1500/year price – sigh…
Had LT sub for 2-years, but I really just need a tad of rendering AND I was envious of all the really good plugins.
If 'The Desk, could just come out with a "Maya LT Pro" sub which gives back plugins, and resolution limited render, I'd be a no brainer for me to pay $480 – $600 a year and be totally happy!
C'mon 'Desk, there's additional LT $eats out here waiting for just a bit of rendering and access to all those lovely boolean, and other plugins that are available!
look dev and light manager in an animation workflow? :,v wtf…
Best software
pretty glad I've moved to Houdini
So many improvments , incredible!
Even a non-maya user like me, dont see any improvement here. Very weird… it seems innovations are not necessary anymore ~
just what exactly is new here?
how long did it took you?
Who cares about light, hypershade and rendering while animating? I just don't get the point
Please tell me there are rigging enhancements?
This stuff was introduced in 2017 version! WTH is this?
was thinking they would never get to release a video
2018就这样~~~~~~~就是2017U4的整合版
nicely done guys!
well I was hoping for some rigging system like CATrig in Max that will be useful for quadrupeds…
Awesome work Long Winter Studios!
Good work
