A Blender 3D Tutorial covering how to use Animation Nodes to visualize audio, music, or any sound data within the program. In this tutorial you will learn how to import sound data, use Animation Nodes (AN) to evaluate that data, and then let the data drive the value of a specific parameter in Blender. This method of visualization can be used to control, materials, textures, color, particles, objects, transformations, or any animatable property within Blender.

Wondeful video, an experienced freelancer friend clued me into animation nodes yesterday, now Im soaking it up like a sponge, great stuff, so much potencial.
I wonder if it would be possible to detect phonemes and use that to automatically lip sync and lay down keyframes for a set of shape keys.
thank you!
You can actually send it to anything by hooking the input node with a math node and effecting the input.
Oh and btw, is it possible to do this with emission shaders? For the music to effect it and light up and fade and light up, etc?
Hi! I went to download the link for the animation nodes and there was an error : Page not found. This is not the webpage you are looking for. Is it broken or missing?
Thanks a lot for this! Was looking for a good up-to-date tutorial on this.
Subbed!
Good tutorial, and I love that track!
At the end I was waiting for the animated rendered result, to see the interaction between music and colors. Thanks anyway.
Looking forward to more AN tutorials from you. Thanks!
Always start a tut with a little video showing your viewers what you're trying to achieve.
