This is probably the best blender weapon tutorial. Why? Well he/she really explaines what to do. Great job man! 😀
Dude thank u. You are amazing u really helped a lot I wish u would be a popular youtuber u explained many things I didn't understand elsewhere
How did you create the hole in the barrel?
I have problem becouese when i add image i don't see it .
how do you get the background image clear?
let's hope it's as easy as it seems
Ah the classic tale of how a noob trades their voice for modeling "skills"
I wish this tutorial had the person's voice, the text kind of gets in the way.
k*** polską broń.
Co? Polakie lepsze!
shear for what?
a pretty good perspective picture goo (DOT) gl/jEeIko
Hey, I didn't watch the entire video but I have a question.
Can you give different textures to the same object,i.e. different materials for different parts of the same object, for example lets say I want the barrel dark grey and the aim point which is 'attached' to the barrel light grey. So do I have to make them as two separate objects to give them different textures(and join them later) or can you make them as one single object and then give two different textures?
how'd you get that perspective pic of the scar-l? I can't find one anywhere!
how come my background image can be only seen in the camera view
Holy shit this is hard, i just started using blender and i bow down to you 3d modelers, you are hardcore profesionals .
No problem. I like this method better because you can see it when you pan the camera around and not just in Ortho.
hey mi pickure wont show
The way I just explained doesn't need to be switched to "View Presp/Ortho" in order to see the image. However, if you feel like switching to Ortho then you'll still be able to see it.
That comment is a year old. lol There's a better way of importing images to Blender 2.6x at least.
Delete the default cube.
At the top click Add -> Empty -> Image.
Click on the "Object data" tab on the right.
Select which image you want to open.
Open it, it'll be laying on its back, facing up.
Press R -> X -> then type in 90 and hit enter.
It could also be becouse you in perspective mode, Press 5 on your Keypad or go down to "View" and find "View Persp/Ortho". When you in Ortho press 1 on your keypad 🙂
Inside Blender press "N" a little menu will pop up. Scroll down to Background Image, check the box and pick a picture :3
WHY IS YOUR SCREEN SO TINY AND SQUARE D:
what do you think of my models
If you are new to Blender start with easier tutorials, you can't expect each video to learn you all the basics. If you are solving an advanced math problem you don't expect the teacher to start explaining the beginner math. Each video would become so much longer. You have the internet, no excuses.
Push 5 on the numpad to go to Orthographic view, then push 1 to go to front view, it should show up then.
You switch see mode to right and turn on perspective and then click "n" on your keyboard and scroll down to background image and add image
go to view than click on view persp/ortho
now i must login on the blueprints
press 5 and your problem is solved.
nothing is better then a hot tea with sweets and a Blender 3D tutorial infront of you
Switch from ortho and perspective in the view menu on the bottom right
why do you make the edges red?
I'd suggest that you take a tutorial series on blender before embarking, so it's much easier
