  1. I have been so close to figuring this out it's not even funny! I have been trying to change the text for like two days and I pressed tab when the text was selected but I didn't know you could just delete those and type whatever! Thanks!

  2. What? No discussion on line spacing? No discussion on kerning? No discussion about coloring? But there's lots of discussion about  what's operations are available when you select different types of objects.

  3. Hi, I just watched your tutorial, since I am starting from scratch. And it helped a lot. But I have a question, what do I do to set the exact width of the text? Not the font size, but exact width, so when it goes to print, that its exactly, for example, 5cm (or inches, doesnt matter) wide?

  4. I'd suggest starting from my first videos where I cover how to select & move objects. .. I recently re-recorded my earliest videos (with good audio and in 1080p) in a new series: 'Blender 2.6 Basics'. Check out my channel. =)

  5. hey i really hope you can answer my question. i want text but its way to high in terms of faces, so i tried making text and decimating it and i actually got a really good low poly text when i finished but it wouldnt let me apply the modifier!! im frustrated is there any way to make low poly text???

  6. In my second video (see my new 'blender basics' series on my channel), I demonstrate how to set up Blender's settings to match mine. The reason '7' doesn't work for you is because you're using the number row above the letter keys instead of the numpad keys. in video #02 i show you how to make your num row work. The number row normally switched between layers, making everything disappear.
