Blender 2.71 can bake textures in Cycle engine. Baking textures is usefull method for saving time needed to render a scene.

– don’t add node to empty texture (will be black)
– if final texture will be transparent, try leave Edit mode and bake again
– if Blender says “No active image found, add material or bake to an external file”, maybe You forgotten to add material or empty texture
– don’t forget to save baked textures

it works but when i export object it comes out without texture can you help me?
hi! thanks for the tut, i have an issue, the textures get a little stretched at the edges, like i can see the pixels stretched, do you know why this is?

But no matter the changes I do, still appears.

this might be a dumb question but going to ask it anyway. say you model some kind of box with holes etc. you bake it, could you put it on just a cube? or would the holes look fake if you had like bolts inside there or something?
