Hey! Amazing tutorial a great introductory course into VFX. Thanks so much. I just had one problem: When the entire image was composited. the final render had like a small rectangle piece of the image (at the top) that was much darker then the whole image. Like a stark contrast was appearing. Can anyone help?
Help. my rocks append from library came in pink????
Finally, I managed to animate the character as I wanted 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9-m5_9g_CE&feature=youtu.be
Sir, But how did you control the camera to make short film like you showed in the fist tutorial?
Please make a video on that. I mean cinematic camera moments and that kind of stuff.
you helped us a lot by creating these videos. Thank you! 🙂
As I import my mixamo .fbx file everything seems ok, but when I scroll trough the timeline I can't see any form for animation? What could cause this? I did everything you did in the video and even downloaded it again, just to be sure.
If you decided to not copy him exactly and you had the light coming in from the left side, you'll notice that the atmosphere _v001 will be on the wrong side, but if you Add>search Flip, you can flip the image on the X access or whichever direction.
Now, THIS is a fantastic compositing tutorial ! It's really detailed and explains the WHY of making stuff like this.
The shadow of colossus examples were amazing to explain the theory behind the compositing!
Like you said I've been ignoring the compositing but after watching this probably I will start trying something out.
Also never really knew what Gamma does until now 😀
Making donuts, coffee cups, and ice cream cones are excellent exercises for absolute beginners, which is exactly what they're intended to be, of course. For those of us who want to take Blender to the next level, I believe this is a truly outstanding series. Many, many thanks, Mr. Branham, for the time and effort you put into this superb tutorial. The work you performed in bringing this series to the Blender community is – as I'm sure you're well aware – very greatly appreciated.
true legend dude!!!! kudos to you guys having the patience to explain every detail… #love #subbed
How is this free!? o:
Only 1/3 of the people from Episode 1 made it to Episode 3… so sad bc this is fucking FREE intro to another realm
I don't comment often but… I just wanted to find a good tutorial to switch from Blender 2.79 to the new 2.8 as I was a true newbie and I wanted a fresh start.
I've found your channel, and… what a start !
I've been through a lot of other tutos and I never saw such deep level of quality.
I'll definately follow this channel and I hope I can continue to learn from you, senseï 🙂
I have a question. The mix node, has two inputs. Can you explain what is happening when we switch the order of the inputs? ( i am talking about the multiply one)
Thanks in advance.
If your exr image has no depth node just change the 'layer' option to 'view layer' instead of 'composite'
Finally able to catch up with this course, very well done, it was a lot of fun and really Helpful! hope to see other tutorials from you.
Hi! I have a question regarding the sword. In the last video there are a lot of overlapping meshes in the sword. Will it have problems if say for example we put it in a gaming engine or in a animation?
I’ve read that it should be one mesh if you want it to work in an animation or gaming engine since there are physics involved. Is this true? Or the physics will still work even if there are overlapping mesh?
These tutorials are phenomenal. I’ve been looking for a tutorial that shows the entire workflow from beginning to end. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this for all of us. I’m curious, with your experience, how long would it take you to create this whole scene of you were trying to get it done as quickly as possible?
You are AWESOME.
I Have One Question. Why Does This Video Have 13 Dislikes? Why Does This kind Of Videos Even have A Dislike?
Ok I realize I have not won (thats ok with me ) obviously King Arthur inspired, and do i get a hint of assassins creed
Amazing tutorial! followed all the way to the end, the only issue I'm having is there is no "depth" node on the "Beautyv001" node, have i done something wrong?
I really appreciate this series. I didn't feel lost and it was the best practical introduction to nodes on youtube. I keep coming back to this and I just can't wrap my head around the fact it for free. Thanks a lot man
What a great series Robby, I can't thank you enough for sharing this for free. What a great introduction to so many areas of the process. I love your teaching style. I only downloaded Blender recently to mock up some simple objects to 3D print. Between Blender and yourself, you have me hooked!
i Would like to try and make an animation in the last scene, although when i'm rendering , all lights shadows etc they get lost, is there any way to fix that? (in "render preview" it looks fine)
This is my try,
thank you so much for making these videos. We all appreciate it, keep it up please!

Why mine doesn't render the fog?
I need to work and buy a better computer. Everything was going well, my sword was perfect, but when I added the rocks … my computer could not handle them. This tutorial is one of the best and I was very excited and even had a good idea to give the scene another approach, but it won't be able to be.
What I highlight and appreciate in this tutorial is how to compose the scene, the lighting techniques. atmosphere.

Really great!
Thank you!
sir; make video this is image render
make a gun modeling tutorial for beginners please
I downloaded the rock file but when I go to look dev mood it becomes pink…can I please know why
It's the best tutorial i've seen. Thanks.
Epic tutorial thanks very much, but can you please do Part 4 with camera animations so we can do a quick cinematic-like was shown in the trailer and not just a static render?
