Blender 3D car speed model (Aston Martin DBS)

This is the full speed model of the Aston Martin i made recently, and this time it is rendered externally using Luxrender instead of the blender internal render. And yes, my operating system changes during the video from Vista to Win7, the great PC tragedy of 2014 is to thank for this:D The model itself took around 10 hours, and about a week to render all 180 frames of the animation. In total there are around 260k faces, and hopefully ill continue to do more stuff like this so i can get a little better at it. Cheers for watching, enjoy:D

  1. The roughness on the metal is too high, I'd suggest using cycles instead of luxrender simply because of the ease of use with blender and the speed. no 180 frame animation should take 7 whole days to render. Are you using GPU computer or CPU? CPU is an order of magnitude slower than GPU, so I highly recommend that.
