THANK YOU! 🙂 also clicking the mousewheel (if you can) —while the mouse is moved in the direction you want the change to occur–will also alter the axis resisizing and many other attributes.
Whenever i press a number key instead of changing the view it changes what layer i`m viewing, causing the object to disappear until i return to the first level again. Why is it doing this? It shows me what layer im working on at the left hand side but yours says something different.

Why is it when I press 1,3,7 instead of changing the views it changes my layers instead? I haven't tweaked anything and this happened? help? I have no idea what I'm doing cos Ijust downloaded this program.

make sure you have num lock turned on
Are you pressing the numbers on your numpad or the the ones at the top of your keyboard? You need to use the numpad (789,456,123).
when you have an object selected i don't have those arrows either
it wont let me change the views it just changes the layers help what do i do
