Get Started with the Basics of Blender
http://cgcookie.com/blender/cgc-series/blender-basics-introduction-beginners/
If you’re new to Blender then you’re in the right place! Through this series I’m going to introduce you to the key basics of Blender, helping you get started with all the fundamentals that you need to begin working in Blender. This series is intended primarily for beginners that have a basic understanding of 3D.
I will be giving you a tour of the interface and navigation, modeling, animation, shading, lighting, and rendering with Cycles.

This is great… have to pause 'cos there's just so much info.
I just thought that part about, "… but if I bring up the operator panel here and choose 'dissolve vertices, it also doesn't do anything!" (hilarious)
I immediately thought, "I if I wedge my left thumb right up my asshole, it also doesn't do anything either!" LOL
if you want to be an animator you must know modeling?
Awesome! Keep it up!
Thanks for the vid man
Fantastic tutorial! You get right to the information with an absolute minimum of off topic chatter. Very well done.
very complete , without "expert shit talking" when most users will go wuuuuut ??? well done man !! and thanks for solving my questions
Maya seems soooo much easier
Nice tutorial. Are there some welding functions in case you want to weld vertices or things like that ?.
Well done going over everything you did last time.
my brain hurts
his z axis is up? is it like based on a top down view so up and down is really depth?
thank you for answer
?hi can one this software download for free
Freaking awesome!
I must be retarded. I find 3DSMax intuitive and can use it easily however Blender, Maya and ZBrush are so awkward for me to use that I find it hard to be productive with their User Interfaces. It feels like someone has replaced the steering wheel in a car with a porcupine covered in Jelly and Razor blades.
Your Tutorials r a mine of gold. thank u a lot for the hard work.
