Why is it that my xyz seems to be off. I have them set to 0,0,0 and when I'm extruding off of the saber and scaling the hole is never perfect because the xyz circle doesn't seem to be in line with my axis. So I keep making disfigured circles when trying scale my extrusions
Uhh it doesn't give me the cap fill type option. How did you get there?
Wish you gave us exact sizes cause i feel very unsure.
How did you render that matcap texture or whatever it was at 0:30 ?
The handle wont just co-operate so i just gave up on the handle 🙂
Really nice video gave you thumbs up before the video started :D. Is it normal that my camera starts to lag when there is a lot of things happening in the scene? Thanks!
At 5:27 when I'm trying to shrink down the orange thingys it leaves gaps, can some one help me?
Why not use f for the back of the saber?
Whenever I press shift r nothing happens
If you're continually adding edge loops to create square edges, what was the point of the sub surf modifier in the first place?
8:00 lol
"fun and simple to do"
this is what a geek would say
This is totally not for beginners because I am one and this is pretty confusing. Slow down please and do not teach us the shortcut keys, we want the full details.
17 minutes into the vid we learn how he's moving the view around… good thing I already new 😀
EDIT: "knew"
This is a terrible beginner's tutorial, it's taking me about 5 minutes for every minute of video, it'S so fast, a lot of stuff is not explained like how row selection works at 4:15. I'm sure it works great for someone who knows how to use Blender.
im having a problem here. i just bought a new laptop that should run blender just fine. (intel i7, 16gb ram, gtx 1050 ti) still i have so much lag. i cant even change the camera view without it moving at 1 frame per second. how could i fix this.
cool
man bridge edge loops… how much time I could have saved using blender. The more you know 😀
This is a fantastic tutorial, I have messed about with blender a small amount for my college course and already knew a lot of the bare basics, but this is great, there are so many techniques you show in this video in such an easy to follow way. Thank you so much for this tutorial !!!
you never say how you select the whole mesh again on the beginning.. most frustrating and fast paced tutorial I have ever encountred for a first use tutorial xD
Wil come back to this after learning blender.. xD Seems like a great tutorial for someone who knows the shortcuts though 🙂
pretty useful thanks
First time i use blender.. Damn i made everything, you are a great help 😀 Now time for part two 😀 yay
