  1. Hey threre, I'm having a problem at 17.00 mins. When I switch over to the node tree, I don't have the 'Diffuse BSDF' and 'Material Output' nodes already set up. Any possible explanation why?

EDIT: Nvm, I pressed some buttons and figured it out. I happened to not have a 'node tree type' selected. It needed to be set to shader.

  2. I kept messing up so I had to start over, now a past icing shows up in Render mode but is nowhere to be found on any other mode that we have learned so far. I have no idea how to exorcise this ghost icing.

  3. Aah this bugs the hell out of me.
I started off with a fairly low polycount for the donus, so also the icing.
Than when I wanted to randomly drop down some vertexes it just took the entire thing with a bit of edge.
And than I notices when I used the mousewheel it just " wobbled" a little bit.
Like you have a thin pancake and butter under it on a high fire.
The icing was bubbling a bit.

How do I fix that to go further into the tutorial?
Instead of doing it all again .

  4. PROBLEM! I can't all of a sudden click & drag to choose stuff on the edit mesh mode! I could do it before but now it wont do anything at all. Restarting Blender didn't help so is there some setting or something that could prevent me from using it?

  5. I have an issue that doesn't seems to be resolved easily. In the NODE EDITOR I don't see the shader when I press Shift+A and even material I add show different settings than what I see on your tutorial. Can you tell me how to get the exact same settings as yours it'll be really help full

  6. Whenever I first rendered the grey donut, in blender render, yours was fine, but mine was like a black and white fruity pebbles mush on the top, and my cycles render took about a minute. When I changed the viewport from solid to material, it finishes with the shaded areas looking as if they were sprinkled with pepper.

  7. I really need help, I hope someone answers me; So when I do the frosting it's not like rounded but it's sharp and it looks more like… you would cut your finger if you pick it up. And if I try to scale it inwards it doesnt work. I turned the thing off with 'O' but it still doesnt work like in your video.
I spend like 4 hours trying this.
I don't know what to do.

  8. I'v managed to screw the view already twice when trying splitting the view 🙂 now all I have is the outliner window.. maybe it would be cool to mention how you add those widows back if you collapse a wrong window 🙂
