I scanned an Acrylic laser cut shape on a printer's scanner then changed it to an STL to design a bracket for a Core-XY 3D printer.
aye, Thank you!!!
When I do (Path, Trace Bitmap) nothing happens. Nothing pops up. I have tried numerous images. Nothing will make it work. Please help me.
Question can i do this in 3DS Max ?
Another nice open souce program is gimp and I highly recomend it
Can you save that model as a .3ds file? If it's possible there's a chance that it might be printed as a 3d model on Pepakura.
Nice video. But this VCU grad says you should have used something other than an ODU graphic ๐
Awesome video my man thank you!
much help man thank you so much
Thanks so much mate.. this helped me a lot..
Does this work in blender 2016?
Awesome. Thanks for showing us this.
Everything was great until I tried to select it to get it to run into a 3d object, but now nothing with select the object.ย What do I do now? It didn't turn orange like yours.
great vid. thanks a lot.
Can anyone translate this process into using Illustrator instead of Inkscape?
I've tried and when I go to Extrude my logo, no matter what value I put it looks like it extends an insane amount or it just distorts or something.
Anybody know what this is about?
I just wanted to say thanks. As a newcomer to Blender/3D Modeling, this is insanely more helpful than so many of the other videos I've watched. Thank you for not skimming through the information, rushing to explain, or overlaying the whole tutorial with music instead of explanation.
what about png or jpg ? how to import these formats?
thanks man. you're awesome
the picture isnt showing up in blender when i import it what could be wrong?
cant seem to import the imge from inkscape. not sure how inkscape works tbh. but the image itself is orange? dont know if that is a factor?
just at tip: you can also transform it from curve object to a mesh, from the object menu at the bottom. It would help you play around with the shape more ๐
His task bar tho
YES.EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED.I started to have doubts that I would find a tutorial showing this emblem but once again youtube has saved the day with recommended videos.Thank you for making this.
Whenever i import the svg it dosent appear. Is it too small? (16×16)?

Bro, i want to ask does this method can be used for making a picture of full body of people? Because if it does, i can start print it on my 3D printer. Please answer my question, thank youuu
Dislike
Why you are moving your mouse every single moment? Which is you don't have to do that.
Because people following that moment, because its part of the your bloody cheap clip video.
And of course we are not here to know about your Uni or Uni's team.
great video! thanks
