can you make one render layer use a different camera than a different render layer?
Nice one.
I've never had to bother with render layers but this was a very helpful tutorial.
Many Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
This is one of the best tutorials on Blender Render Layers that I've seen…
thx a lot
It is a real shame that is only works with cycles… And it would be appreciated if you had told us that, like directly in the title, or at least in the description…
Or to know if you knew of a workaround or something to hide an object (or mainly, a big number of objects, like those that are automatically generated by the cell fracture tool) while using ANY other renderer that cycles.
I had to scale the un-fractured object up a little so that it overlaps the fractured "version" of it.
Finally a very good tutor on render layers 🙂
If I have an emitterplane lighting my model but I don´t want the plane to show up in the render, only the lighting. How do I do that?
Do simulations tab 🙂
third xD
Absolutely awesome tutorial. Very good explanation. Best about render layers on whole youtube channel. I was watching around 15 of others about Layers (all of them are just shit), but only this one has clarified for me the difference between Exclude and Layer render. Now i know that Exclude will leave the lights and shadows of the object but not the object itself. Thanks a lot!
