Blender Dinner Table Scene – Furniture, Cutlery and Glasses (Wood, Metal and Glass in Cycles Render)

This tutorial shows how to place models, add materials and create a scene with lighting Cycles render. The tutorial shows how to manipulate models made in previous tutorials to make a dining table scene.

This tutorial shows how to use the Cycles render engine and its material system. Making realistic metal and glass materials is easy using Cycles.

Steps –

Use the chair base to make a table (scale 0.166).

Append the chair, scale and place.

Use Smart UV Project to UV map a wood texture to the chair and table

Place the chairs

Append the spoon, scale (0.05), place and set up a metal material.

Append scale and place the fork (0.06) and knife (0.09).

Append the wine glass, scale (0.04), place and set up a glass material.

Add planes for the floor and walls.

Add planes for lights and set up a light material.

Place the camera and render the image.
