This Blender video demonstrates how to add 3D objects to a photo. The method shown supports shadows and caustic light rays. The new shadow catcher feature was not used for this video because, as far as I’m aware, it does not yet support caustics. Blender version 2.79 was used for this tutorial. This video shows techniques that may be helpful to beginners and intermediate users.

Everytime I render the image size always 960×540, how do I change that?
You are the BEST. Gracias!
wow
LOL, I thought that only the transparent cup was 3d model 🙂 Great, concise tutorial. Thanks for links to source photo!
Very good tutorial but the shadows do not match the direction of the real cup
Thanks a lot.
I always wondered what the project from camera was for. I've never had a use for it or never tried it because I had no idea what it was. Either way, very cool.
Top notch

Great, now I am able see my background images in the rendered view.
Hello sir, I've a question and this question is very very very important to me. Please tell me that how to save/render a motion tracked video with the 3d objects from blender into the device . Please please reply me.
12:38 doesn't work for me :(. When I press the "U" and select "Project from View", distortion remains, nothing changes. I don't understand why…
clear and helpful, thanks
Unfortunately denoising crashes Blender at every time for me.
thx
Nice tutorial. Can I make the red glass alone using your "another coffe.." tutorial. My problem is I have blender 2.72 and cannot go to 2.79 due to video card and OpenGL limitations.
Great even for new blender user like me! Not to fast, every step is clear, and i cant wait to rebuild your scene ! Awesome! Thanks a lot!
Amazing video. Thank you!!!

Great tutorial, made it easy for me to put my object into a scene. Good job!!!
What if the floor was reflective? What about objects nearby that are reflective, like the fork? isn't it supposed to have a reflection of the mugs?
BEST EVER teacher on Youtube, thx so much
