I tryed to render and it all came out only black and white. I'm doing this on a macbook, and I went to the node editor while having the window selected, there was nothing there. Anyone with the same problem?
Hi Andrew, great tutorial again! In my short career in Blender I learned that unwrapping stuff should always reside between 0/1, especially for games because of rendering issues or engines not recognizing the textures in the right manner. Is this not common in architectural design?
Has Archimed no European kind of window and doors which are different to the US one?
Keep going on with these wonderful tutorials, and thank you for teaching all these beautiful things!
my windows have no materials, how do i redo them or do i have to add materials manually from now??
instead of pbr ……. aterial you could use principled bsdf
trying to unwrap the walls at 31:00 but every time i mark the seam and unwrap, its just a giant tangled mess
Could anybody tell me where can I download or buy 3d models for interiors?
When I use the Light Path node in the windows, I lose the Alpha, any idea how can I achieve good results with the glass node composition keeping active the alpha channel?
thanks a lot man I have fooling around with blenda trying to design a house plan because I have been using chief architect for my floor plans but I think blenda is cool yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa
Could anyone help please as i'm confused what i have done wrong, when i click on the window and open node editor nothing appears. also when i'm in object mode nothing has colour like in this tutorial. would really appreciate if someone could let me know as its probably a simple solution.
on the step with editing floor texture, it uneditable in uv/image view. What is the mistake?
Man ! 6:28 to render 2000 samples ! You must have a beast under your desk ! x)
Thanks for the tutorial !
Hi nice tutorial by the way and i wanted to request you to make a separate tutorial for node editor, its really confusing for me and other tutorial are not good enough to understand…. so it would be great if u can..
Is there any way to turn down the reflection of the PBR-Material node for the floor? I'm doing a school project and didn't have the time to do the material myself (I just downloaded it from your website), so I don't really understand how it works. My floor is supposed to be a plain pvc floor with a brown color, but right now the reflection is so strong, it almost looks like a mirror, without any color but with a strong blue tint, because of the environment lighting.
Man, wonderful tutorial, cheerful, helpful. Thanks a lot.
Pleaseeee some body help, I'm lost in the step of resize the floor material, at time 17:08, I have no idea what he did.
in the node editor, when I press "Shift+A" , I cannot find "Shader" in my Blender. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
My windows do not work. It just shows the wall. Help?
The volume absorbtion isn't working for me :/, can anybody help?
HOw to add PBR in blender group?
great video thanks bro.
this add-on sucks! the window has so many objects I can't even select what I want to. can't I just join all these objects?
I keep on making interiors but when I render no matter how many samples I use I keep getting noise in the shadows. I have googled many methods of getting rid of 'fireflies' and I have used them all but I still keep getting noisy shadows. How can I fix this?
video thumbnail image is from another model and render?
what are your pc specs ? 😛
I think that I found a solution for that nasty counter-normal backside mirror effect.
I made two sided material: Glass / ThinGlass.
I send image and link to blend file to your website in comments.
I'd poop in that tub.
Please I need help, when I'm trying to render the scene using the GPU settings it doesn't work and every time this message appears ( CUDA erro at cuCtxcreate: launch faild ) is there any solution for this problem???
your final render is way much batter, i mean, Noise, how you render this noise less? what sampling you used for final render for interior? well i already used caustics and diffuse ray and portals methods with 2000 sample, but still i missing something?
Blenderbritt has a glass shader.
Please make a tutorial about a cleaning a blender file. I mean all of dead or duplucating data placked in file. Even if I modified some node thee, and then I want to re-add it to my startup file to have it by default, there is the same named node added already. and so on..
Thank you for your awesome tutorials! It's just a great part of Blender itself.
I wonder is there anybody who knows the Blender in 100% (except you, of course, haha) 🙂
you are fucking awesome, Andrew. Thanks
BlenderGuru hello, tell me please what node you used for the mirror?
