In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to take a simple graphic or logo and convert it to a 3D mesh within Blender. This is designed for my 8th grade Android programming class, but the concepts demonstrated here require no knowledge of Android.

I actually built this particular lesson because of that logo he showed me. Great technique! I'm glad he brought that in and showed me. Props to glyphbin on this one!

I've used this method a lot for making 3D logo animations and similar media within blender. I even used it to help one of your students make a 3D extrapolation of a logo for his variation of your Android 3D wallpaper. Thanks for the upload.
