Even simpler: When you've got what he's got at 2:20 (you can simply hand copy them AND you can copy paste what he's got over and over for denser plants) hit space and type randomize transform. Check Randomize rotation and set Z to 180. You can play with the other values. I got pretty decent bushes, Pine trees, Grasses etc set up in no time.
5 years later still a great tip. 😀
Pure magic. Thanks, great stuff.
WOO HOOO!!!

Amazing. Never thought it can be so easy. Thanks a ton for sharing!
damn so tricky! thank you very much
BRILLIANT!
i have the same problem when i add the offset… :/ i don't know why.
thanks
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but when I add the array with object offset the object offsets in size and shape and for each count it deforms more and more until it basically covers the screen 😛
Appreciated <3
Subscribed and liked because just from the 222 Z turn, I was able to finish an entire plant, textured and all in less than 30 mins. Thank you
nice… 🙂
I can't believe nobody have commented this…thanks for sharing such a brilliant technic 😉
