You can always use the boolean operator to do a union operation to append new "base mesh" geometry onto your sculpture. Also I just wanted to say, I normally can't even stand to sit through tutorials on youtube but yours, I did. Very well done and thank you for uploading, I learned a few great things here which is exactly what I was looking for. 🙂

I scuplted everything now I'd like to pain my sculpt but when I go to texture mode my sculpture becomes basic box.
great tutorial! one question, when i've finished a sculpt then click on object mode it visually reverts back to the original object, what could be causing this?
