I'm not seeing the brush menu in textures. When I try to open the texture it just applies the entire texture tiled and will not let me paint it on myself. Why isn't the option showing up for me like on your video? did they move it? I'm using the most recent version of Blender.
I can't get the texture paint to work. Whenever I add a paint slot there's no brush pallete nor texture available -it only says there's a file missing. Any thoughts?
if you cant see your environment picture after selecting it, press 5 to change from ortographic
can anyone please way me why the alt + f1 method of importing an object does not show the object in uv mapping or in split screen ? i imported the helmet from another test build i made but its not showing on split screen or uv mapping at all.
You are applying DIRT and SCRATCHES on Darth F*ing VADER'S HELMET!?!?!! Are you kidding me? How DARE you *lol
Very very nice tutorial! I would love to see you doing some actual manual UV unwrapping. I'm just curious how you would go about this rather tedious task.
"Glossay"
16:08 Pun intended? 😀
BTW that materials are sexy as hell, nicely done.
TY man. U have +1 Ru Fan. http://p3d.in/VktC4 u Tutorial. TY for Halp.
A very good tutorial and I especially like all the info about the nodes in # 4.Thanks for posting.
Whenever i bring in the texture for the helmet it is just plain white, there are no greyish spots like on yours in 21.14, what did i do wrong? The image itself is not a plain white Picture, the file itself looks just like it should
Awesome tutorial once again! The only thing I noticed was that the caps on the ends of the pipes are the same color as his grills, not black. I think the teaser has it correct though, I just selected the part in edit mode and hit p and then put on the texture, just in case anyone else wants to know what to do, fantastic tutorial though! Makes everything so simple and easy to follow!
