This Blender video demonstrates how to make an animation of text being carved into a stone wall. Dynamic Paint is used for this effect. Blender version 2.75a was used for this tutorial. This video shows techniques that may be helpful to beginners and intermediate users.

I followed the fully steps in this tutorial, everything works good but the output video came with bad resilution. Knowing that i use the latest version of the Dell laptop.
Can some one help me in this matter ?
Thanks in advance.
Thank you very much for all those tutorials …I really like your way of teaching …very simple and efficient …please can you make a tutorial on how to model cloths …Thank YOU
Never mind. Added a Displacement Node and played with the section and worked fine.
With Blender 2.79.2 in the Compositing section with nodes, image texture to output displacement looks like crap. Way too distorted.
Thank you for this step by step tutorial.
in add constraints
at target I'm not getting circle

Thanks. Just what I needed to animate a wire-feed welder.

Excellent tutorial, your pacing is great.
hello sir,
please give me your whatsap number

Very useful for seeing how the steps relate to each other–setting up a path animation with Dynamic Paint, in this case. At least for me.
17:20 I just noticed, the perspective foreshortening is quite major–notice how the grooves face outwards at the left and right? Might be better to move the camera out and narrow its field of view. Or even set an orthographic camera.
2:32 The singular of “vertices” is “vertex”.
I am ecstatic. This is intense but so clear and professional!
Thank you for this tutorial!
MERCI
I have a problem . If I select the follow patch button and select circle the cone is shifting to the right side of the text

I'm a beginner on blender, but your tutorials help me to be like a an advanced user, so easy to learn from it. Your tutorials are great….
i subscribe. you subscribe back!!😊
I have a slight problem. I have been using this tutorial, but when it carves out, you can barely see the engraved stuff, because it doesn't show you the shadows. Because of this you can tell its carving, but you can''t see what it is carving. Has his problem risen before and what can i do to fix it?
awesome your tutorials
what are your pc specs. Mine took about an hour to render though i did have many more samples, frames and I had the framerate at 60. Thanks for the tutorial
🙁
This is the greatest channel for beginner users of blender. The way that he describes each step is so helpful.
Also here is a tip. Hitting shift + F lets you move freely in the view port with wasd and mouse. Hitting 0 putting yourself in camera view then pressing shift + f lets you move the camera into position that way. hit enter when you find the desired position.
See now i am going to use this for stuff such as tires of a car driving through mud and what not. thanks man.
I really like how you SHOW THE ACTUAL KEYS WE NEED TO PRESS when demonstrating the steps to take. So many other narrators must think these in their head and forget to tell you these critical moves. While your video was well done, I am but a total noob here and I'm not ready to take on something so challenging presently. There must be over a 100 steps to complete this animation. I can't believe it took 12 minutes for your PC to render this 36 MB file! That's a long time to sit around idle.
