I downloaded this model but my steering wheel is not separate object…
I can't hear you. Don't be shy.
Hi +MagnoAlbuquerque , I'm getting this error (below one) when i'm creating the expression, pls help.
" // Error: Attribute not found or variable missing '$': master_CTRL.translateZ // "
Thank you so much!!!
awesome but its to fast and no sound :/ ..college student trying to learn
This is really cool men!!! Just maybe would be necessary to create a controller to tip sideaway and tip front the car. But this video is awesome, also because the way that you do it is so simple and nice! Thank you! 😀
Really good job on this. I also followed these steps to rig another car, but the problem is, for example I created a curve and attached the car to it and made it follow that curve, when the curve makes a bend towards either left or right, since the wheels roll with respect to "translateZ" of the main controller, they will no longer roll because the orientation would be changed due to the bend. Do you have a fix for it? How to keep rolling those wheels no matter what direction it is going? Thanks.
better riging? maya or 3ds max?
very interest. good a job
It's a Mercedes Sls by the way. Just so you know 🙂
Wonderful job you did! Thanks for the upload. By the way where did you download this model?
isn't this SLS AMG?
No sound ?
Yeah, I realize that! I'm trying to fix that with my teacher. Thanks for watch!
Yeah, you are right! It's a major flaw, but like I said, I'm studying and I'm trying to fix that with my teacher. Thanks for watch!
Thank you! But I think that is too fast just when I'm doing the box of the controllers. Before and after that is still fast, but not too much. Sorry, I tried to make a way that wasn't boring to watch. Maybe I had exagerated on speed. But I hope you could understand.

Thank you! The expression is: wheel_left_front_GRP.rotateX = (master_CTRL.translateZ / (3.14)) * 450;
You have to check the number to multiplicate(450). It depend of the size of the wheel.
The expression still have a little problem. When we rotate Y 180°, the wheel is not rolling correctly. I'm trying to fix that with my teacher.
very nice tutorial…can you please put the expression for the wheels in the description? I've been searching for an expression like that for a very long time! Thanks 🙂
Just one problem here, I turn the whole group of 180 degrees and check that the wheel will still spin in the same direction. How can I fix this?!
awesome! but just too fast..
too fast
Major flaw in the rig: The expression you used for the wheels makes them rotate when the car is moved on the original axis, but when the car is rotated the wheels do not roll at the right speed. Any thoughts or fixes?
Thank you Noor Maktom!
