I guess this is obsolete in 2018…cant render volume primatives at all for some reason…

Hello, I am an art student, so thank you for all the help. I am running into a problem with this tutorial, as the volume sphere is not appearing over the surface of my planet, but only around the edges. I tried increasing density, depth, transparency, and none seem to make the atmosphere visible over the surface. Please help
