Coool !! a very great informative tutorial here .. Thanx guys Keep Up
Good Video, in what format did you export those into motionbuilder? fbx. obj?
So do you have to manually bind it?
Thank you so much, I have been trying to find beginner videos for 3 days now. I like how you don't assume we know the basic vernacular of animation.
I have Mixamo FBX animations and cannot get them to work in Motion Builder. What is the work flow for exporting them to Biped format for use in 3DS Max?
great tutorial! can you rig Google 3d warehouse models in motionbuilder?
I brought in a model to characterize and have been following your tut. Get to the end as you did and found the arms not aligned to the x axis. No matter what I do, I can't get them to align. Have looked from the front and the top as you did but can't see the problem. What would you do next?
Gees, you just solve my problem I was trying to characterize my rig for work and I kept getting the yellow light but did not really get that it had to be a T pose with a90° rotation, your video really help and was very instructive good work
Can I ask if you work for gaming or do you just like to play around
Hey, is it important to have the "reference" bone in the skeleton? Is it needed to make the animation to work? What if I have a rigged character without a "reference" bone? Will it still work?
hey bro i just want to say thank you very much for taking your time and making this video tutorial. its a great help
Do you only use Maya or do you use 3ds Max also?
Good stuff
it's easier if you use max's biped for rigging.
