  1. I know you posted this a long time ago but thank you! Had my first day of my rigging class today, got lost, decided to look up how to do it online, and every other tutorial I could find online did things totally different than my teacher did.

  2. Thank you VERY much for these tutorials you have made
This was VERY helpful to the point you won't even believe.
    10/5 for clarity
    10/5 for helpfulness
    10/5 for quality

  3. Well, I love this series, which is mainly to the points. I subscribed and liked this ..
i have a question. why you leave rotation value in joints.? I mean is that good or bad? Or just fine on that way?
And If possible please do a Snake Rig Tutorials..
And last give my lots of thanks to the maker of this video…. πŸ™‚

  4. If you have problems with Replacement Names For Duplicated Joints, just retype the Search For and Replace With and it will work, I think its a small bug but that will fix it.
    Thank you for the Tuts!!

  5. hi :)just subscribed to your channel and I would love to see you making a comprehensive tutorial about all kinds of different maps in maya should you find the time. thanks πŸ™‚

  6. Sorry to bug, I enjoyed the video but a thing I noticed that will fix the naming. If you have those underscores you need to have it search for L_ and replace with R_ I suppose because maya see's them as being attached to one another

  7. I recently bought a book on rigging in Maya. After going through the book, and about 60-80 hours of following along, I found these videos. They cover much of the same material, but it is a lot faster to learn from being shown instead of being told.

The one major thing that the book has over these videos is that the book points you to models that you can follow along with.

Great videos! I wish I hadn't spent the $ on the book.

  8. bloody hell I love it when people go straight to the point in tutorials! thanks for the help lass, I've learned more with you in 20 minutes than I have in an entire course of animation =)

  9. Thanks for nice tutorial series, those videos of yours are nice to watch..
Is there any website that you would recommend for getting free models on which I could practice rigging? I want to get into animation but I need to practice rigging and skinning too.
