  1. Ok this was a really great tutorial. This video is so old I am not confident I will get a response but here goes. I don't think I missed a step but something went wrong right at 53.41 in the video. I am in object mode. I select a tree. I go to the Object Modifiers (wrench tool). I click on Convert. I go to the particle system and delete the particle system. I press CTRL + J and join them. Everything looks good up to this point but the leaves will not render! The tree renders, but the leaves will not. I repeated the above but this time I did not delete the particle system and the leaves did render. I created a separate blend devoted only to creating the tree and leaf system in order to isolate any issues following the video step by step. Same result. If I delete the particle system the leaves will not render. What did I miss? It obviously works for you. I am running Blener 2.79.

  2. I was working on the tree and was trying to pull up the geometry options like you did, from where it was hidden below on the left side of the screen. I ended up creating all of these extra work screens! I see how to open extra work screens, by clicking on the little plus sign in the upper right hand corner. How do I close them? I only really need two or three.

  3. Hey, Great tutorial, thanks for doing this. One question though.. Whewn I try to get the leaves on the tree, using the hair particle system, it doesn't attach the leaves to the tree (even though I use the weight paint and everything) It just sort of emits the leaves in a circular shape. I can't get the leaves to attach to the tree. Can you help?

  4. whenever i am in 'camera mode' the whole waterfall strarts to dissappear, so i've put my camera closer to the waterfall and can only see the half of it (the half of the waterfall is still gone), where can i change that?

  6. hi, I came across a problem, that the transparent shader didn't work. I just followed the line-combination step by step, but the other part could not get transparent. Hope you can answer me, thank forward.

  7. great tutorial however, since I last seen it when it was still blender 2.71 I'm not sure if the sculpting has change because when I start to sculpt the mesh doesn't look like yours but more like I used the grab tool even when its was draw.

  8. Hi, When i sculpt i create first some weird faces if i go to many times over the same face and after that my smooth is really slow. He did that in 5 ttimes and i cant even do that. And my smooth strength is one.
