Thanks for this tutorial … you ended on a still image though.
I would love to see the animation on this explosion. It looks a great deal cooler than the explosion from the intro, right?
I'll check your page hopefully you go through the full animation, and maybe some compositing in another tut. Thanks CG Geek

May I ask what your specs on your computer are? Blender is running fine on mine but I'm wondering how you're getting really quick preview renders…

Great tutorial, I love it. But I have a problem: I followed everything you did and my explosion was cool, but i can't see the flame anymore (I can see just the smoke during the rendering). I could see it right before but probably I clicked something wrong, it maybe happened when I was setting the rendering settings before start the animation. I am gonna make crazy XD

This is no good style, sorry to say that. The explosion looks beautiful, but since you let the viewer take part in getting your thoughts in some sort of order is really frustrating. I'm half-way through now, second attempt, took me like four evenings in total and is absolutely annoying. I'll give it up on this one.

Thanks for your tutorial, friendly suggestion: be more logical, more simple, more prepared, thank you

Very nice tutorialBut I need help with rendering. Whenever I render smoke simulation the frame I used to add nodes my blender crashes after rendering that frame. Also whenever I render skipping some frame starting from frame 51Debris won't show up. Only explosions show up. So i have to start it from beginning. Plz help me. I saw ur exploding logo tutorial and made a logo.
