I don't have a samples: Render button. My blender only shows what it looks like before the preset. How the heck do I get to the samples: render ? Instead of using a preset, it would be simpler to show how you got there from the first settings. I'm seriously confused…Lol.

Question, what do you mean when you say "noise" per frame? I still don't quite get what seed does or what light sampling option beneath that do

first I'd like to say that I love the video! very helpful. I do have to quick questions though. one, does your default cube have an emission or is that your render settings doing that? two, is there a tutorial like this one for world settings? because I'd like to know whats the most simple settings for ambient occlusion and what not.

What if i set the sample count for the final render to 0? Will i be stuck at the 1st frame?

I'm only commenting because the "Blender Fundamentals" series is currently filling up my feed. Try "dripping" this content out next time. My feed is flooded.

I praise this series, Certainly very helpful for beginners. But also I'd like to see some videos for users they are not programmers, but interesting how it work under the hood. Just few examples: what's CPU and GPU task in viewport. How scene is "prepared" for render. How Cycles render scene – rays distribution, samplers (BTW, why not metropolis?). How many calculations need for render default scene, how motion blur work,
..and many others. ..explain how it work to the deep. I thing this can be interesting for many users
