  1. I'm sorry but as a REAL artist, that is the most pathetic comment I have ever read.

My old teacher always said you are only as much of an artist as the effort you put into your work, which obviously [in your own words] wasn't much. So that makes you not much of an artist.

The greats must be rolling in their graves to hear such stupidity.

  2. Check out my Neptune animation I just made it and it was hard so I would like to have some views because I never get any. Just go on my channel and search for ''neptune animation'' I also have other space animations so please check them out!

  3. unfortunately I'm not a Blender user ( I'm a 3d s max user). However: I was still able to achieve the same exact results despite the fact that you were explaining everything for blender users. That my friend, is how you know you've made a brilliant tutorial. The principles and reasons are perfectly there and explained well. Thanks a ton for this tutorial! My newest video will be so much better due to you!

  4. @EliteKiller07 Same here. I'm still kind of a newb so I haven't attempted to recreate nature in blender
but with all the talk about the Nature academy i'm really tempted to start

  5. @xLDH1109x

Nope. I wish i could, cause it looks amazing. But, the price point is way out of my range. I just took the money i was going to use towards the Nature academy and bought Jonathan Williamson's new book on Character modeling.

It's fine, though. Because I've been experimenting with nature and i'm starting to get the same results on my own.

  6. Awesome. However, you messed up one imported detail. The Earth is spinning the wrong way, lol. Oh well, you could always just reverse the clip and it will look just as good.

Also, can't wait for the The Nature Academy. Gonna buy it day 1.

  7. @AndrewPPrice Are you kidding? I LOVE your tutorials. You always make my day, and I always learn tons. And this one was very good too. I've been working on a similar sci-fi scene for a very long time, so the same things you mentioned (trouble with stars and workarounds, etc) were exactly the things I spent a long time trying to figure out how to deal with.
I don't know if it was this one or not, but somewhere you said you don't do BGE. You should. People would flip if you did some BGE tuts.

  8. SWWWEEEEETTTTT!!!!
I just went to BlenderGuru this morning to see if you had anything new up. I've been watching your tuts a LOT lately, and I learned a great deal from the last one on the logo. I really appreciate your efforts to share your knowledge and educate the Blender community. You're my hero, Andrew! You're fantastic, and a great guy. THANKS again!
