In this tutorial we will learn how to interchange OpenEXR image file from Maya to Photoshop. For the full EXR image support, we will use Exr-IO (www.exr-io.com), from 3d-io, and establish an easy to understand workflow for professional productions. The main goal is to work in Photoshop as other do it with Nuke and Fusion.

why did it stop showing me this pop up menu in 4:38 minit. How do I reactivate it?
thank you for this!!
I was looking for this for a very long time. Thanks a lot mate.
Thank you
If you dont get the same Colors when you switch to 16-bit you need to create a Icc-Profile in Photoshop that is a linear RGB not like the standard 2,2 gamma srgb
If I switch to 16-bit my color look so much brigther and the overlayed passes dont look anything like the beauty shot. Does anybody now why?
amazing, thank you
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks so much.
When I go to open the EXR image, I get the default Photoshop EXR import dialog asking how much gamma was applied to the image; nothing for EXR-IO appears. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
useful plugin thank you!
When I open image with Exr-IO everything is locked and I can not edit the image. What should I do?
Thank you in advance
