    In a state far, far a way………
    I learned on a cheap, box camera with 127 film! We got a small, square negative. Usually b/w.
    Since then I've shot nearly every film size there was. Enjoy.

  8. what exactly is the fill-flash mode? is it different from regular flash? Also, what would you say is the best lighting if I want to use no flash at all to keep the warmth from the film? thank you!!!

  18. Take the plunge and get yourself a 35mm film SLR. I've been shooting digital for many years and at the beginning of this year, I just got into film photography almost for the first time. I say almost because in the 1980s, I had a film point and shoot, similar to yours and in January of this year, my wife bought me a Canon AE-1. Just get one! You won't regret it! Now, seven months later, I have 4 film SLRs. In addition to the AE-1, I have a Minolta SRT-303, a Nikon F, and a Nikon FA. When you buy your first vintage film SLR your interest in film photography and the fun and involvement you'll have with it will skyrocket. Very nice photos. Cute video!

  19. Wow your photos are so beautiful! I just found one of my mom's vintage film cameras in our attic and I'm so excited to starting using it and learning more about photography in general! I've never used a film camera before other than disposables and I really want to learn how to develop the photos myself. Have you ever tried or wanted to try developing your own photos?

  31. for those looking for an app that mimics film cameras: there’s an app called „RNI films“, there are some nice filters you can use for free and others you have to buy. but it’s still pretty nice for editing your pictures 🦋

  47. Yoo I'm a 20 year old New Yorker with mad different interests. Photography, clothing, financial literacy, etc. I commented to see if anyone wanted to be in a insta group chat full of creatives and artists(who are also pretty active so it don't die out). Videographers, stylists, graphic designers, photographers, directors, producers so on and so fourth📛. Almost like asap or spaghetti boys but our own shit later down the line maybe who knows💭.
