this behind the scenes photography tutorial is a great example about how you can find unique locations just about anywhere. we were behind a parking lot! i actually re-used one of my favorite locations for this shoot! you might recognize it from this video: https://youtu.be/loqU0_msI50 i just love the daisies so much. i edited these images to look a little more faded, to fit julia’s vintage theme on her social media. i photographed her portraits using my canon 5d mark iv + sigma 35mm f/1.4 art lens.

What editor did you use..??
great shoot !
did she cut her hair with a steak knife and then "towel" dry it with sand paper?
It's making me angry and I wanna be mean.
I'm sorry.
See if I saw this little place and asked for a photo my friends would literally take the photo as soon as I move even if I’ve been posing for like 30 seconds.
Love the lighting in cloudy gloomy days and the contrast between the subject and place and the weather is so cool
How did you edit those??? GORGEOUS
Jessica, Have you heard of the Hobby Lobby challenge? great place to take some awesome pictures.
nice
i shrieked when i saw julia
I love how she compliments the model, it makes the whole shoot a 1000% better.
my town doesn’t have flowers ANYWHERE or any photogenic areas 😔
Could you make a video of your process of editing pictures? Like, no preset, from zero. ps: This is amazing!
💜
I Love all of your Videos Jessica! 💞😍
how did you added that yelow light 4:32 ???
you are awsm photographer
Where the values are exif ..??? I applaud that it is a photography to amuse itself, but the bitter flavor we never still have to know that speed, diaphragm, white balance of white you used for your images ..!!!
nice video like sub
What is the clicking sound I have a Canon t6 does it do that sound too
You are very creative! Very good!
Take a shot every time they say cute
This girl is so cute
why do u take so many photos for each pose. surely it makes editing so much longer and harder to pick favourites
Wow amazing. Thanks for all your tips love your work.
Which camera?
What do you have your aperture set at in these photos?
where i live is in the hood
The wings SLAY my life
Wonderful!
I love that your videos are no nonsense, straight to the point. You've been so helpful
I love Julia! She seems so humble!!
i kind of want to make a video specifically on me location scouting + what i look for in locations !!! what do you think?!
It's the clouds that I long for! I'm in Central Valley of California and I will spend all summer dreading going outside in over 100 degree weather and then when I see people living in cloudier states I'm always so jealous because our clouds are so rare!:( I too have used patches of grass or random little spots off the side of the road, but the whole vibe changes when the sun is burning you. 😛 Your photography is beautiful!! 🙂
Who else loves Jessica Whitaker??❤
Hello Jessica, kudos for putting up al those videos.
Just one suggestion. Use a lavalier microphone. This should improve your audio quality dramatically! Really, give it a try.
great shots. Good reminder that you can use any location….just need to fill the frame with good stuff….even if there's trash just outside of frame!
Omg you're in Washington too?! Where in Washington are you? I'm in Bellevue which is 20 minutes outside seattle. I've been dying to meet other photographers out here.
Great job!
They look like they could be related
OMG amazing, simple and perfect! I love you job girl! <3
Hey Jessica I really love your pics I wonder if you can share what kind of preset do you usually use in Lr in particular for this shooting. Best
besides how much i love this behind the scenes is it too weird for me to ask where your jeans are from? lmao
I love the logs, where exactly is this location? If you don't mind sharing
