Find Great Locations Anywhere | Natural Light Portrait Photography Tutorial

this behind the scenes photography tutorial is a great example about how you can find unique locations just about anywhere. we were behind a parking lot! i actually re-used one of my favorite locations for this shoot! you might recognize it from this video: https://youtu.be/loqU0_msI50 i just love the daisies so much. i edited these images to look a little more faded, to fit julia’s vintage theme on her social media. i photographed her portraits using my canon 5d mark iv + sigma 35mm f/1.4 art lens.

  1. Where the values are exif ..??? I applaud that it is a photography to amuse itself, but the bitter flavor we never still have to know that speed, diaphragm, white balance of white you used for your images ..!!!

  2. It's the clouds that I long for! I'm in Central Valley of California and I will spend all summer dreading going outside in over 100 degree weather and then when I see people living in cloudier states I'm always so jealous because our clouds are so rare!:( I too have used patches of grass or random little spots off the side of the road, but the whole vibe changes when the sun is burning you. 😛 Your photography is beautiful!! 🙂

  3. Hello Jessica, kudos for putting up al those videos.
Just one suggestion. Use a lavalier microphone. This should improve your audio quality dramatically! Really, give it a try.
