    Perhaps a light meter would have determined the proper settings to cut down the time of running around adjusting flash settings. I could be wrong.

    It's set at 1/32 and -1/3, not 1/32 exactly – the canon Speedlites don't show the exact figure unless you are on that precise setting. 1/32 and -1/3, then down to 1/32 and -2/3, and then 1/64 power. To avoid any confusion.

    I have question. without reciever and transmitter, when i use my flash off camera, the little flash on my camera also firing, which i dont want. any way to prevent this? or i must buy both transmitter and reciever to prevent it?

    why not use a light meter instead of waling back and forth while your talent stands there? This is the image i get when people say "i light by eye", it's simply translated as, i walk back and forward three or four times and just wing it
