The Alien bees flash is a good flash to freeze the action, intact its flash duration is so short; then it is not important how long or short is the camera shutter speed. You can also use speed lights as yougnuo or nikon sb900 series and so on
Hey nice job. you made it look easy thanks for the power on the lights and set up. could you share the camera settings? i have the same camera but planning to shoot with the 100mm macro IS 2.8. thanks
