  1. Great video ! I especially liked the blur effect at the end which I never used with a curve adj. layer. Great tip. A remark though on the Luminosity masking technique. By using the zone masks and not the masks just above them in the panel you are kind of restricting yourself and not accurately targeting the tones you really want to adjust. They give you much more control on your masks. My 2 cents. Amazing picture mate !

  2. Excellent video and image!!! Thanks. I'm so glad to see that it doesn't take hours in front of the computer to create a great image. I'm like you, I'd much rather be out in the field with my camera than in front of the computer. I'm new to photography and it's easy to fall into the trap that you have to spend a lot of time in Photoshop with complex layers to create a good image. Can't wait to see more.

  3. Hi Adam, as a general rule, I don't watch videos over 30 min but decided to break the rule based on the quality content I've seen here so far. Glad I did! In the past, I've done 95% of my processing in Lr having found Ps to be both powerful and tedious. Just recently discovered luminosity masking and bought the TK V6 panel, which has taken my work in post the opposite direction. Thanks so much for sharing the creative thinking behind the computing, I found that immensely valuable. As an aside, I live only 20 minutes or so from Rosewall Creek. Thanks for sharing!

  4. hi adam, ive just recently found your channel, and I am really enjoying your videos.really like your woodland photography, and the editing videos/I am more of a landscape photographer(in Scotland),and always on the look-out for single trees and woods to shoot.learning a lot from your excellent tuts.thanks.

  5. Hi Adam. Thank you for posting this video. I'm just wondering if this image was straight out of camera or it was post process before video too? You didnt do much about the colors. Which white balance setting do you use when you are shooting woodland?

  6. Awesome video Adam. So many techniqes I didn't know about thanks for sharing. I would definitely be interested in seeing more but not at the expense of you photography, that has to come first.👍👍👍

  7. Really love this video Adam. Thank you so much for posting it. I cant wait to see one of your processing videos you do on your forest scenes with the beautiful greens!! Thank you for all your hard work!!!

  8. That was a great video, Adam. I've been working that way lately too, by adding a heavy vignette first, and then selectively brightening back in to certain parts of the image. Would be great to see more videos like this.Would also be nice to see your approach in the field and what camera settings you use, as well as where your focus point is to get sharp focus front to back.
