Oh crap. This tutorial is very nice and easy to follow, but apparently this "program needs a CUDA-Enabled GPU (with at last compute capability 2.0". "CUDA driver version is insufficient".
My i5 laptop just doesn't cut it.

I can't get texture to apply. Do I have to unwrap first or something?

Would recommend retopo, let’s be honest the topology isn’t great so I’d definitely consider re doing it and also a good retopo would drastically bring down verticie count

I only needed the OBJ so I could copy some old toys I had to 3d print them, but I kept watching because it's so interesting. Great video!!

It doesn't work for me! Help! I tried many times with 2 different items, my photos are good… And then it just stops at the "PrepareDenseScene" step. Please what do I need to do?

What black magic was this? Teleporting between his room and nature… He's a witch! Kill it, kill it with fire! Oh, nevermind, someone just told me it was clever editing… I'm skeptical but I'll allow it. The torch and pitchfork, however, will remain nearby.

Hey! I have a question, if you could help or point me in the right direction that would be awesome, at the part in blender where you add the texture, I have multiple files to add, and I don't know how to add more than one. Do I have to compile them somehow? Hope you see this and respond. Thanks again x

Do you have a video showing how to do a 3d scan and model for an object to be carved on a CNC? The one in this video is nice but I only need black and white I guess. I don't know much about this stuff but the models I buy are not in color

Meshroom would terminate the process for me whenever I got to the meshing node. If you're having this issue try lowering your maxpoints on the meshing node from 5,000,000 to 3,000,000. That fixed the issue for me

"Get it installed..". It would have helped to actually go through the process. Meshroom really falls down on the documentation…

Great video! I have had difficulties using this path for scanning people, though. The biggest issue seems to be hair and difficulties not changing facial expressions. Do you have any recommendations for handling these things?

Not mainstream enough. Too many steps, software learning requirements.
