I do not suppose you know how to do this in Blender 2.8? Seems they removed the Alt+C shortcut and I can't find mesh from curve in the search.

Haha. Blurred out the e in "Tutorial" in the intro because it was spelled wrong. Also, this part was hilarious 1:15

A nice simple tutorial! I appreciate how you add humor and personality without it becoming overbearing. The ending especially made me laugh 😀

Please make tuts for Materials. I like these Orange Material in the Thumb. Iam very new in Blender and comes from 3dsmax. Blender is very different in The UI, shortcuts and Workflow.

Before you convert the Text into a Mesh, duplicate it (Shift+D) and move it to another layer. This way you don't need to repeat everything if you mispelled something. ( Sorry for being a smartass 😀 )
Nice and easy tutorial. More , more, more typography and intro animation tutorials 😛

    thanks for this, very helpful.
at 1:18 (and 6:08) you stress spelling things correctly just at the moment when you are typing out and misspelling tutorial! i thought you then going to point out the mistake and correct it as an example of what you were saying! or was that beeped expletive at the end your noticing it?!
in terms of new tutorials, and given what you have already done, i would love to see some more illustrations of realistic metal surfaces using the Principled shader and including bump and normal maps (showing the difference between them) and also with displacement maps. btw, personally, my need is for narrative photoreality (eg for green-screen backplates), not low poly games etc.
