Really nice thanks!
Hello, the Addon is fantastic, BUT I can not figure out how to change the height of the base splits (in Version 0.3.3).
I tried everything without success. I want to move the base splits higher. How is that possible ?
is this tutorial meant to export the tree into a game engine? im having doubts about the n° of polygons that is being generated
Why dont you make trees and let us download them…
Hello! I followed the steps you have in this video but my tree doesn't look the same as what you have. Does blender version matter?
this tutorial is great, but im having an issue. when i check "show leaves", no leaves are showing up.
Well, it all seemed to be working, but on checking "Show Leaves" nothing happened. Grrr! A quick google did not turn up any help, either.
Sigh
1i have the same problem, when I open my tree project or save it I cant find the sapling panel..
2. I need to export the tree to lightwave as studio max file. but in lightwave, I ONLY SEE the leave not the branches of the trunk.
Help, please……………!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoyed your tutorial and very pleased with the result. Big problem now cos Blender crashes when I try to render it. Such a shame!
I made trunk a little bigger than it's unaligned branches, so imperfections got hidden
scrolling up isn't working
how did you zoom in on specific parts
you sir.. crashed my computer
Hey, Great tutorial although I have had some issues with the sapling addon. For some reason the shape roll down menu in the sapling parameters is "grayed out" and I can't seem to fix the issue with this. Anyone else having this problem or does anyone know a fix? I've also payed attention to the requirements said in tooltips for this. Thanks in Advance.
Thank you so much for taking the time to break down this addon in detail. Very much appreciated! Subbed.
Thank for your tutorial it was really helpfull for me ;D
Great tut, hope to see more from you.
Just one question – how do you get so much leaves at the final step? I made a different trees few times, and last time followed up all your settings but still – looks like it generates for me around 1/5 of your leaves. I tweaked everything up but still didnt figured the reason.
Good tutorial but one problem at 3:10 : the option to change the shape is there but it isnt, at least not in version 2.75. To fix this, go to branch splitting; levels has to be more then 2, so 3 will do and then you can change the shape.
How do you make the "Presets" folder independent from the administrators permission?. I've tried different ways, but the error continues to pop up. Thanks for the tutorial in advance, it is really great and helpful.
as soon as i do something else, like move the tree or select one other thing, the "Sampling: add tree" disappears and i cannot find a way to see again the tool. May you help me?
great tuto thanks!
I'm having a bit of trouble locating the sapling panel whenever I reopen the tree file. Where can I find this panel?
if my mem on the top right says 70~ will that be how much ram it will take in game/unity?
THIS S*** FAILS EVERY TIME!! THATS IT! I QUIT! im tried to make that freaking tree for a 5 times and it fails all the f'''''' time!
I have done this tut twice and I keep getting my leaves populating the mid branch and sparse at the tips. Any suggestions?
HOW DO YOU ONLY HAVE 800 SUBSCRBERS?!
Thats amazing! thanks <3
