Damn the UI looked so ugly back then.
omfg that nostalgia feeling…
amazing !!! thank you
Finally, a tutorial that doesn't use the procedural tree object plugin. I'm trying to model a manzanita, which doesn't look like anything that plugin can make, so it's kind of a relief to see that there's a way to make a tree manually that doesn't take 800 million years.
when blender looked like this i always deleted it 5 seconds after downloading it. Thank God for the new UI
the version 2,72b doesnt have Script ?! what now?
blender has changed quite a bit hasn't it
This is Biff Tannen, and today i'm gonna show you how to make it like a tree, and get outta here!
Good tutorial but it seems advance to me
Grrr.. was hunting for the tools in 2.70
GRRR. I just wasted 3 hours modeling on 2.69 to find out that it doesn't include the script anymore.
Is the sapling add on as customizable as this technique? I'm going to attempt my first tree and it's a boswellia sacra. The shape isn't your typical one trunk in the center. Thanks in advance!
2:42
does anyone know how to get into that in the new blender?
At 1:54 there's that tree with white flowers…you sore it in korea recently as u posted a video on how to make it…I remember seen it in one of ur videos it I found it it was this one…
retopology
is thare a way to make them very low poly? bicause now when i go down for like 500 poly then i already see alot of weared changes
For anyone who would like to make trees in one click download the tree[d] program from frecle(dot)net its free and saves alot! of time making trees, btw tree[d] only exports to .obj if you want to use the trees for unity's terrain I suggest you to import it to blender and configure the settings after you can export as fbx (if you want), all uv's are already in the format so dont bother re-texturing the model when imported to blender.
How would I do this in Blender 2.62. I looked all over for the scripts.
thank you 🙂
Ty for this 🙂
in the newer versions there's a sapling feature.
Update the tutorial!
