58:41 I usually never think of racist stuff but that sounded racist
I think Andrew needs to watch a tutorial on keeping track of your maps!! 😀
Brilliant tutorial my friend.
Ambient occlusion is a fakery-bakery lol
i would use weight painting for the rock piles.
There's huge problem I'm facing. I want to purchase the full set, so I tried the trial version first to see if it works. The result is amazing. I really liked it. But.. It takes like major minutes to load. I don't understand why this is happening. When I load in 3 rocks, the program hangs… It's too large.. Pls help me if I'm doing something wrong here. I'm using a MAC gtx 780
Far far far far far far too many small rocks. It is good to look at photos for reference, but when the landscape is such as thing as mars, you have to remind yourself that it is a foreign environment and the only references an every day human can work off are photos from NASA. There are still deviations in the landscape.. and plus we are artists, if we were to work off a reference for every photo, we may as well be photographers or something.
20:45 – isn't that what Bryce was for?
This really reminds me of destiny when you enter the ring to destroy the black heart. Inspiration Andrew?
My AO map stays all black. What can cause this?
"The sky is very rarely black — unless something has gone wrong"
…or it's night.
Thanks!
Nerdiest 2 hours of my life.
I would also suggest adding rocks to the front of the ring where it meets the ground, or do something more with occlusion and shading so that it doesn't look odd. It seems you did that in the one used for the thumbnail where there's some more shading at the bottom, but adding rocks and letting blender handle the shadows may be easier for beginners.
Cool
You know for someone who spends time on computers , the time lapse clip was the worst default sound ever , but I loved it
Wait a sec? You said that in any space there are small particles in the air … but there is no air on mars.
Hi…can you please share your cpu specifications
28:45 that smile 😀
what's the system configuration required to do this Sir.
I noticed, that you don't use original Photoshop UI. Are you using any theme? If yes, can you tell me what?
Hello, I would like to know how to control the workload of the GPU when
I render an image to prevent overheating
I have a video card MSI 980 TI Lightning whose normal temperature is 40 °
C but when rendering up to 62 ° C, would like to know how to control
the workload regardless rendering time last longer because what
interests me it is the lifetime care of my GPU
How much ram do I need to make this?
you have already thought me a lot more than i knew .. so thanx for that 🙂
if you say "How to make mars in BLENDER" then don't feature textures and rock essentials that costs money and Substance painter if someone like me for instance am already done doing everything in Part 1 (had to make my own rocks and everything) and then have to download substance painter as well and ugghhh i just want to create fcking mars … xD.. but good tutorial though..
Thanks for another great tutorial Andrew, cheers!
