  1. I'm happy with something like this. I had no idea Blender could do video editing. I just don't need pro-editing software right now, so I am happy to drop that stupid rent model of Adobe. It costs way too much for what I need.

  2. great video, but also misleading because Blender will literally fuck up you audio no matter what. If you compose a video, and you have image and add a soundtrack, maybe you will get away with, but not if you edit a gameplay for example, and that is why you cut out audio. Not because was not relevant but because there was a big chance to fuck everything up. First of all the way Blender handles everything, there is a huge chance you fuck up audio just in the simple process of cutting out stuff because you need to duplicate the actions and not drag anything anywhere, on top of that the audio will be completely fucked and you will have situations where you load a video and you will have the audio from taking off in the fucking loading screen while the start and end of audio will be in line with the video. another 2 hours wasted of my life.

  3. my fps is super low ;( I tried let it run lot of time but it keeps low. how can I fix this? and also, what if my clip is like super long, I'd have to wait ages before it loaded it all

  4. I guess you like to talk huh? You could just simply say, go here there, this is how you cut, crop, stretch, slowmo, create text, bla bla, here is how you render. But i have that feeling that you're telling your life story.

  5. Im new to Blender so thank for the video but like many tutorials ive watch, people show the fundamentals of using a program but  failed to finish it completely.
So you have all your hard work edited with fancy fade in/sound effects ect,  but how do you combine the videos into one sequence, other words how to finalize/render that one as a video file!

  6. Thank you. I installed Blender, tried to use it, and got so irritated with it that I uninstalled it ten minutes later. Then I came across your video and you convinced me to reinstall it and give it another chance. Before I watched your video I couldn't even figure out how to get to the video editor, let alone use it, lol.

  7. Thank you SO MUCH! I've been looking for a free PC video editing software; I installed blender & was slightly intimidated by the user interface but this video helped clear a lot of questions I had and allowed me to start some basic editing for my YouTube channel! Tysm! 😁 You kind Sir have earned yourself another sub!

  8. I loaded blender up for the first time and got that screen with the square, and immiediately I realized I was in over my head lol. Damn shotcut keeps crashing when I try and use a gif so i needed something to just cut together something with a gif real quick lol.

  9. Do you know???

Do you know what cross-integration (if any,) exist within the Blender's video editor and other facets of the program? For example, when using Adobe Premier, when you create a nested sequence (embedding one sequence into another,) and then say carry that over to Adobe After Effects for compositing, the nested sequence then becomes a nested composition. So the integrity of the workflow remains. Or does that not apply when using Blender?

  10. Thank you so much for making this video! it has helped me so much on a very important project. YOU ARE THE BEST! I'll proudly post the finish piece to Y.T as my very first. As someone fresh out of art school these extra skilled and software are a life saver 🙂 video editing today >> animation soon after. #appreshation

  11. im having so many troubles D: i have an MOV at 120 fps. I set the custom frame rate and everything, the video is upside down now. i can just flip it but now i have to render it like that. the framerate randomly set itself to 156723 fps and the custom says 114.4 fps and when i set it to 120 it plays at .9 fps

  12. I hate blenders video editing. I tried using it, and it was so confusing, like, I put a fade in, but when I went over and came back it was out of place and in the wrong order, and I can't seem to put cuts where I want them, it keeps cutting in the wrong places…
