Learn Blender: https://cgcookie.com/flow/introduction-to-blender/
A great Blender workflow for quick hair visualization: learn how to model hair like in anime and manga comic books using Bezier curves. Set up taper and bevel curve objects, easily duplicate a variation of tapers and bevels and populate scalp using bezier handles.

Lollllll to the fact I've been making hair without using snapping. I mean…it hasnt been HELL since it's still pretty easy to manipulate and rotate being that it's a curve but snapping still would've chopped off some good time. So…..grrrrr… for that XD
Thanks for the tutorial 🙂 Good job!
I know this is a couple years old, but is there a tutorial on how this head/face was modeled? If so I haven't found it.
how do u attach them to the head? and animate them? simp ctrl + j doessnt work
Awesome!
And then it is possible to add physics or rig the hair in order to animate?
Do you have a tutorial on how to make that anime head? (And rigging it?)
How a texture this? Only way that i see, it us convert in mesh…or there possibly add a texturing or coloring lije in hair paricles?
Thank you for tutorial! I think this is the best way to model hair in anime / cartoon style.
Why can’t all tuts be this simple! Seriously, Blender is an amazing program but so many of the tutorials are unnecessarily vague or complicated.
How would you do the beveling and tapering at the beginning in Maya?

i love this style! How would you go about making it low poly and game ready?
Its it possible to animate poly hair in blender? I barely find any information on it.
After watching this deleted my previous hair model 'cause it was WAAAAY inferior than this, i just want to achieve something like that.
Wow, just wow
where can i get this 3D head?
what is the licence for it?
Exactly what I was looking for Great Video
This video is very helpful! I cannot wait to try it for myself. I like the model, wish I could download her!
Amazing tutorial! Thanks!
Thanks , nice Model Cartoon-Style Hair
I didn't expect hair to be so easy to make
Once I duplicate it and snap it to head I can only scale in Y axis, not z and X. When I also go to apply scale it deforms.
Can we texture it?
What did u use to do it?
i love you! thank you for this tutorial!!
The worat thing is when i delete beizer curve my all hair becomes thin
