Hey Everyone! This is going to be another Photoshop-to-Blender tutorial. In this video, we are going to go over how to make a morphing animation between two images. To achieve this effect, we will be utilizing shape keys in order to match the two images together. Then we will animate the transparency in the materials so that one image will fade into the next. This effect is not very difficult to achieve, but the longer you take to match up the faces when making the shape keys, the better the morphing transition will look.
I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial and learn something new. way hay hay dood, looks ready interesting but you talk to fast and you don't explain your moves
I don't know why, transparency isn't working
You'd think that with the amount of morphing people do, that they'd make the effect a lot simpler.
I am trying to use this method to create an age progression sequence of my granddaughter. I followed your instructions to a tee but unfortunately I can get very far. I imported my images as planes and moving ahead, I am able to work with the edges and move them around but I can’t make the top image semi transparent to see what I am doing. I have played around with several settings and for some reason my images are unaffected by any changes I make. Any suggestions?
when would this ever be useful ?
Awesome!!
Blender is so amazing! I think people are discovering Blender functionalities, which not even the developers know Blender has. Because it's so versatile and powerful…
Nice!
Bravo man

Very good tutorial…Many Thanks!
Godly, thank you. Was just wondering if one could achieve this effect in Blender 3D
