Hello Serge. Nice and informative video, as usual !!!
I am going to the Dolomites soon and want to make a photo directly in the sun. (golden hour and sunset).
Because I am only 1 day there, I do not have many opportunities and I doubt a few options ….
1. Exposure Blending (2 to 3 manual exposures on different parts of the photo?)
2. Use graduated ND filters (honest: I do not have the best / most expensive)
3. Use bracketing (if this is an option that you recommend, which range? -2 / 0 / + 2?) And is a sunstar still possible with bracketing?)
4. Use the Sony digital filter app
Hopefully you can help me a bit and give refreshing insights.
Keep it up
Do you always shoot with the horizon in the middle of your frame?
I'm really confused.. couldn't you just use Aperture Priority to get the 3 photos? I'm also confused about your settings.. did you just take 3 photos, one at 1/400, 1/200 and 1/100 at F10?
Very crappy info
Sub for more Sun

Sunset are over mate. The airlines have partnered up with geoengineering expert Dr David Kieth a geoengineering psycho who has been given 250.000.000 for development nano particles that are now places in aviation fuels. These trails can be persistent in the sky for hours and they spread the more planes that fly over the more you are going to loose blue skies and you are going to loose sunsets. Do yourself a favour and view my videos of chemtrails being laid in the skies. Please spread what is happening and also join the millions on Facebook taking photos of chemtrails that are fcking up the sun not getting to our earth.

THIS IS BULLSHIT .. The Shots were ugly .. Underexposed and messy … this video is just a BLUFF ….People want to learn Shooting technique , not Light-room skills .. OMG..
Serge, when shooting these sunsets with the settings you provide, are you also equipped with any neutral density filters?
Really great advice.
awesome tutuorial and photography !!:)
really nice photos! I have a video of my photos too, It would be nice if you could go and check it out and tell me what you think. Thank you. 🙂
just found your page, sweet. and notice you have the peak design bag… i just got the new sling 🙂
Very valuable information Thank you!
Welcome to Los Angeles, there is a lot of smog. The sky is brown during the day, makes for great sunsets though.
terrific stuff serge. thank you. j.
I would really appreciate if you could make a video on how you prepare for a trip to some unknown place. How you pick and find the place. I mean.. How you choose place where to go? How you find those places where to go? I see millions of mesmerizing places on 500px but most of the time I have no clue where it is
Hi Serge, Thanks for all your help. Im a beginner photographer and want to start my own business eventually. I love your work and knowledge. I want to fill myself with your knowledge of lightroom and photoshop etc… I think I have a good eye for photos but want to expand. What is your advice?
So again 2 minutes of the intro telling you're a photographer from Paris and here's my website, 13 minutes of actual tutorial/workflow, and 10 minutes advertising your website/courses. Don't you think there's something wrong with this pattern?
The website doesn't work at all.
Procedures taken so far:
1) Clicked the signup link as instructed in the video.
2) Entered my e-mail address.
3) Received confirmation link, clicked it.
4) Received welcome email.
5) ??? Still no access to raw files
6) At no point in the process have I been prompted for a password, only my e-mail address. I figure I need to set a password and log in so I go to log in and click on the "forgotten password" option.
7) I receive the password reset e-mail and set a password
8) I try to log on and now get this:

Your tutorials on YouTube are good but, based on this experience, I am unlikely to ever purchase any of your in depth tutorials – as much as I would like to – simply because it seems I'd never be able to access them.
I love your tutorials, Serge!. I have learned a lot from them but, most important for me, I enjoy a lot watching your tutorials,
Mes félicitations les plus enthousiastes. Vous êtes un grand communicateur.
How do you control lens flare? I'm literally on a bridge in downtown Seattle, shooting a 5D3 and 70-200 2.8 IS II, and as soon as I rotate enough to capture the sun, it flares up like crazy.

I wanted to thank you for these videos. As much as I think French is such a beautiful language, I am pleased you are using English so that you can reach more people.
Thanks a lot Serge! Great tips, really helpful, easily understandable and the way you show it is inspiring. Makes you wanna go out and do your own stuff. Did you know the best thing you can give (beside love) is knowledge? I am sure all the good deed will come back to you once 🙂
Hello! I have Lightroom 5 and it doesn't show me the ''photo merge',' can you tell me what's the problem?
The file size on the HDR Pano must have been massive!
