always like Tonys vids but the pictures outside of the 2 kids in front of a horrible balustrade were awful, very snap pictures at best ( del all) on my camera.
This is such an amazing couple. very beautiful people
My four (soon to be five)year-old cousin's birthday is coming up and looking for tips to help shoot him when we go over to see him. He's generally a bit of a poser but can't hold it for more than a second! This definitely helped teach me how to keep him occupied and natural. Thanks!
I think it will be easy for me because I myself am 15 years old. My cousins would love posing in front of me. they won't feel shy. But still a great tutorial I learned a lot today. Thanks tony.
I dont understand why she is using an nd filter with ISO at 250, why not just increase the shutter speed, and lower iso to 100?
Tony, which camera did you use for you and Chelsea talking?
You guys have a professional style of teaching, love your work.
Cool Shirt Tone, where ya get it mate?
This was really helpful! Thanks!
great
audio missing? Plays sounds in every other vid except this one??
your videos are the absolute best!
in general a good video, just wanna coment on the shot with those 2 girls where you use the defusor to block the sun… that is kind of not great at all… faces in shadow wile the background are alot brighter? here you atleast need a reflector to get som light in there face or a flash
wow really helpful
Great shoots!!! … I do have a qustion though. When I take pictures, they don't have that punch like your shots do. Im shooting raw but the pictures don't have that post-professional look before editing. What settings are you using to achieve such great quality during stock photo shoots?
Hi Tony & Chelsea! I am a big fan of you guys. You guys are doing great job. I would not have found better teacher elsewhere. I just wanted to know if you could ship your book to Kathmandu, Nepal. I am sure I could learn a lot from it. If it's possible, please let me know…. Keep inspiring and motivating beginner Photographers! Good Luck!
takes off bracelet xD great tutorial! Thanks!
Tony, I have learn everything I know about photography through your book and your videos… I don't think there is a better instructor out there!
I searched up how to shoot children and this popped up. WTF
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am an absolute newbie struggling with F-stops, Shutter Speed and ISO and portraits. I have a question and I know it could be a very silly question, but I hope its addressed. Ideally how far should I stand away from the subject to get a blurred background or small depth of field?
Could you comment how illumination config have you used in this scene? So much perfect!
What lens Sam is using throughout the shoot?
thanks to you both. really appreciate your videos everytime
Is it always recommended to use a hood for the lens?
great video!
WASSYP, IT'S AMAING BLACK GUILTLESS 1!
In the first example with the 2 girls side by side…where is she focusing?? does she use centre focus on one kids eye then recompose? or a centre weighted focus?? this is really confusing for me as i normally do landscapes, but with things like this i don't know where to focus……for example if a mother was standing and her child standing in front of her…if i focus on the mothers eye, the kid is on a different focus plain and will be out……..anyone care to give some advice?
good work tony…. im proud of you like my own son…. you did good…
hi, just returned to watch this old video again. Would it be possible to get this photographer on one of your live shows? reviewing photos of children.
Ty for the tips, and showing Samantha's photoshoot with the kids. It shows a lot of interactions with the models, and it helps me see how I should interact with mine.
this photographer is really good. i like how calm and in control she was even when she was working out her settings. nice to see how the pro's do it.
I worked alot and never really found an intrest in
what I do.
i love watching this video it makes me feel AWESOME ahah i find it entertaining
WOW, watching your older videos is weird, you look so young 😉 (and the sound is so bad ;])
For those quick photo's from your mobile device try the new baby focus and capture each moment easily https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/573088777/the-baby-focus
Love this! My son slept through his entire newborn shoot. He probably opened his eyes once. He peed and pooped too. It takes a lot of patience. Now I have 2 toddlers and it's SO hard! Going to try these tips.
best tutorial for me!! just moved me one step up from basic!! thank you!!!
Great video. Love the frog hop. Why ISO 200? I usually shoot ISO 100. My understanding is that the higher the ISO the more distortion. Maybe a little higher ISO adds something good. Please educate me.
Thank you for your tips and helpful advice, portrait photography is something I'm interested in, I've also purchased your stunning digital book, I like how you both explain everything easily. looking forward to reading your book ?
