Simple and straight forward. Nice! Thanks
Did you have to crop it
Very informative thanks Tony
Should we click Moon from under the city lights or will away from light pollution
you should have said use a tripod then you wont need to worry about your movement only the moon. And also don't take photos of the full moon if you want to pick out details and see craters better. iso 100 f11-16 and 1/125 is what you should use. For me this is how not to photograph the moon. and it shows in the photos you took. alot of bad advice. Why show how to fake a photograph of the moon? bizarre choices to put in a how to video when i'm sure people would rather have good advice. I like your vids usually but this was bizarre. If you want to stack. and obvious tip is use a tripod and then your images will be sharper in the first place.
What is IS? Thank you
Tony I know your video is old but it is helpful. Thank you so much cause I used to take some pics of the moon and I was disappointed. Now they are great. If you have a Instagram add me …@rfranc71 and thanks again. Tell Chelsea hello … Oh yeah that pic of Niagara Falls the buildings in Canada I live close to that… I am in Buffalo NY… Thanks again!
Imagine if tony just stopped the video after the first 30 seconds 😂😂
Do you set up your camera the same for a moon shot as the stars?
Hi what moon phase can you see the most detail on the moon
I've also experimented with various shutter speeds from 1/60 to 1/250.
What lens is ideal for moon Photography? as I have an A7iii and the 24-105 G lens.
I followed your steps on shooting a good moon picture and I was able to get an AMAZINGLY clear shot worthy to put in my work slide show that I present to my customers in my shuttle business I have here in the Tampa Area. Thank you for a great video. 🙂
how much did that massive lense cost you lol
Now, that was really helpful. Thank you.
thank you, Tony. Wonderful work – and many greetings to Chelsea. Max from London.
OK… you win… I've just subscribed.
I really found this video most informative, and you have a really nice, easy going style which I fell makes your tutorial videos really easy to follow and understand.
Incidentally, I'm the guy who emailed you asking about which book I should buy to learn about exposure and photographing the Aurora Borealis. I took your advice and ordered "How To Create Stunning Digital Photography" this afternoon (from the UK). If it's half as good as your videos, it'll be money well spent!
I like better just fly my drune up close to the drone and use the panorama function to get an incredible high detailed picture of it
I really appreciate your channel…thank you ! You make everything so concise, without any dumbing down. You certainly deserve every single one of your million plus subscribers.
Finding a good teacher is like finding a needle in a haystack ! All the best to you both ……J
Thanks – that is valuable information.
Thanks Tony, professional and informative as usual 😉
Hi tony and Chelsea,
You should do a new moon vid. This one just isn’t you. Im not sure if you check your older vids but im confused about lightroom and which one to buy or if a new ones coming out. I need this for an I Mac Pro 2018. I bought lightroom over a year ago as well as your book and never got into using it. I couldn’t even get to the sliders y’all were always adjusting things with. Im down on the jersey cape with no help or photo buddies. So could you please e mail me whats best for me? I shoot everything and try not to need this but as photographers we all need it once in a while or more unless your moose. Thanks buddy.
im a new fan here, and i will always watch every of your videos from now on thanks sir
