Thank you for this informative video. Very helpful for a beginner like me 🙂
Super helpful video, thank you! I'm a photography noob but I have the Canon 70d and want to use it to capture the Lights in Norway next week. Unfortunately I only have the 18-55mm kit lens that came with the camera but looking to purchase a lens before my trip. Do you recommend a particular type of lens for the Lights (wide angle?) Also, do you have any recommendations for the 70d to shoot the Lights? Thank you!! Adi
I have a portrait lens and that was a terrible idea. My advice get a lens 10-24 mm if you have the money. Shoot at the lowest F aperture bum up your IS0 and shot anywhere from 3-15 sec. Note auroras can give off tons of light shooting at 15 sec will cause it to be overexposed.
Amazing video! Whats the name of the music?
Beautiful video! I'm going out tonight to try to see the northern lights.
Realky informative. I have the sony dsc 20v. I am not sure how to set it. Any tips
