You read that title correctly. Tired of your landscape photos looking like every other fantastic photographer’s shots? Maybe you should be taking things in the other direction. I have to admit I laughed pretty hard and felt a bit ashamed when Denney got to the part about only using a wide angle lens. I was guilty of this for far longer than I would care to admit to. After all, we see a beautiful view, and we want to make sure we get it all in the frame; it is just a natural human instinct. Of course, though, not every scene needs to be shoved entirely into a single image, and you can often make much stronger photos if you zoom in a bit and isolate one or just a few interesting elements.
